Greetings from Dr. Sharad Kasrale
Complications of hormonal imbalances. The problem of PCOS, PCOD, irregular periods and even hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism are constantly rising.
Symptoms of hormonal imbalance
Common symptoms of hormonal imbalances are infertility and irregular periods, weight gain, or weight loss that is unexplained.
Depression, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, low liquid, changes in apatite, digestive issues, hair loss, and even hair thinning.
Conventional treatments of hormonal imbalance usually include synthetic hormone replacement therapies, birth control pills, insulin injections, thyroid medications, etc.
Symptoms of hormonal imbalances can change dramatically depending on what type of disorder or illness they cause.
For example- High estrogen can contribute to problems that include endometriosis and reproductive issues, while symptoms of diabetics often include weight gain, changes in appetite, nerve damage, and the problem with eyesight.
Some specific problems associated with some of the most common hormonal imbalances include estrogen dominance, which is changes in sleep pattern, changes in weight and appetite, higher pursued stress, slower metabolism.
PCOS is Polycystic ovary syndrome usually associated with infertility, weight gain, higher risk for diabetes, acne, abnormal hair growth, low estrogen, low sex drive, reproductive problems, menstrual irregularity, changes in mood.
In the case of hypothyroidism, you feel slow or sluggish metabolism, weight gain, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, digestive issues, hyperacidity and acid reflux, irregular periods, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, muscle loss, weight gain, fatigue, and mood-related problems.
Hyperthyroidism is also known as graves’ disease associated with anxiety, thinning hair, weight loss, IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome, trouble sleeping, irregular heartbeats, etc. and adrenal fatigue that is chronic fatigue fibromyalgia these are also associated with hormonal imbalance
Tropic hormones are also produced and secreted by the anterior pituitary gland which is an endocrine gland and they also target other endocrine glands.
These hormones include TSH that is a thyroid-stimulating hormone, a follicle-stimulating hormone that is FSH. The posterior pituitary gland doesn’t produce hormones by itself but stores and secretes two hormones made in the hypothalamic region oxytocin and vasopressin.
And then releases them into the bloodstream.
Now let’s understand the medical nutrient which is extremely important to treat hormonal imbalances.
Normally when we talk about hormonal imbalances we are concerned with the functioning of insulin glutamine mainly present in the pancreas.
Most of the neurological, neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorder like alzymiers, Parkinson’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis, depression, anxiety all these are associated with serotonin, dopamine, and melatonin
Even insomnia is associated with melatonin dysfunction and these are not present in the brain but they are very much present in the gut because the gut has brain connectivity and the brain has a strong association with the gut.
Natural Ingredients to treat hormonal imbalance
MCT coconut oil comes to my mind as the first medical nutrient which boosts metabolism, digestion, absorption as I have already communicated through my various audios.
MCT coconut oil penetrates through the blood-brain barrier and it is a brain booster or it revitalizes or rejuvenates your brain neurons and neurotransmission.
And this enhances the hormonal function and hormonal activity of three critical hormones of the gut and brain. They are serotonin, melatonin, and dopamine
So MCT coconut oil I recommend 10mL to 15mL two or three times daily along with the food you can take or along with hot water.
It is known as amratalitinum; it is the reserved super specialty. MCT coconut oil blesses with over 150 medical conditions including PCOS, PCOD, irregular menstruation even menopause discomforts like hot flashes and mood swings and anxiety, depression and not to forget alzehmiers and Perkinson that is loss of memory and tremors associated with Parkinson’s.
So MCT becomes a very important medical nutrition.
The second is omega-3 fatty acids these are brain-healthy fatty acids. The brain has sixty percent fat and out of that fifty percent are omega-3 fatty acids.
Omega-3 fatty acids are known as Antarctica triple strength fish oil capsules.
They have EPA and DHA which are helpful for boosting gut function.
Adaptogen herbs we know that the herbs which are responsible for improving strength, stamina, and mitochondrial energy level.
Adaptogen herbs are ashwagandha and Shatavari.
They are the extremely best herbs and beneficial for correcting hormonal imbalances.
Holy basil tulsi is also known for regulating cortisol levels. Cortisol is responsible for stress levels thereby working as a natural remedy for anxiety and emotional stress.
Study shows holy basil can also protect your organs and tissues against chemical stress from pollutants and heavy metals which are other factors that can lead to hormonal imbalances.
Now we see there are various heavy metals like arsenic, mercury. These are contaminated with foodstuffs like fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, portray all these are often adulterated or found contaminated with heavy metals which are very very poisonous.
And hence known as poisonous heavy metals.
So basil or tulsi normally in our research recognize tulsi of five different varieties namely Rama Tulsi, Krishna Tulsi, Vana Tulsi, Vishnu Tulsi, and Camphor tulsi (karpoora tulsi).
These tulsi have got a very high ORAC value that is Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. Tulsi naturally has over 1600 micrograms of vitamin K2 which also enhances the bioabsorption of vitamin D.
That’s why those who are suffering from osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and even osteomalacia, osteomyelitis, and chronic muscle-related pain like frozen shoulders, then low back pain, pain in the hips area
All these are associated with vitamin D deficiency needs vitamin K2 correction and tulsi has the highest level of vitamin k27 which improves the biosorption of vitamin D and vitamin D improves the biosorption of calcium.
Practicing meditation or even prayer, chanting Veda helps improve hormonal balances.
Essential oil like rosemary oil, peppermint oil and mainly we use our earth-related oil that is camphor oil and bilwa and kalonji oil along with cesium oil gives you extremely relaxation with respect of muscular spasm, muscular pain and inflammation naturally by gently massaging over muscles and bones
It helps to regulate the blood and eliminate the clots which can be dangerous for even heart attacks and strokes.
GLA or omega-3 fatty acids 120 milligrams acts as an anti-inflammatory. They are great in pain-relieving nutraceuticals found in evening primrose oil or Mauritius oil.
We know that 85 to 90% of the Indian population or even the global population is deficient in vitamin D and those who have vitamin D levels critically low that is less than nanograms per ml need vitamin D supplementation.
I recommend 2000 ayu vitamin D every day.
Birth control pills are dangerous medication that alters hormone level. The pill is a type of hormone therapy that raises estrogen levels to such dangerous levels that it can cause complications.
For relaxation, one can use curcumin, cinnamon, ginger, tulsi, and black pepper. Boiled water or milk or tea can really be the booster or boon for maintaining hormonal levels.
Jaggery also naturally enhances red blood cells, hemoglobin, and also iron content in the blood.
One has to focus on fruits, 5 fruits a day that is rich in antioxidants, enzymes, dietary fiber especially prebiotics to enhance your gut function to enhance gut microflora acts as probiotic and enhance your brain function as well and harmony of all the functions.
I am hopeful that this particular information is beneficial for you
